The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Evidence-based coaching draws from the relevant research, theories, and practices of psychology, organizational management and development, adult learning, and communication. Educated in these academic disciplines and trained in critical thinking and self-reflection, an evidence-based coach applies theoretical frameworks and valid research in working with their clients.
What does this mean for you? As an evidence-based coach, I pull from existing knowledge and theories in relevant areas to support you through the steps of setting and accomplishing your goals. Furthermore, coaching can give you new perspectives and enrich your learning throughout the process. Our work together will allow you to search deep within yourself and find answers to questions, solutions to problems, and sustainable strategies to successfully meet your goals.
It is my inherent belief that we all do the best we can with what we are given. I also believe everyone has the power to change, grow, and flourish. This collaborative focus on you – the client – will assure your personal and professional development. Throughout my coaching, it is my intent to allow you the space to breathe and find balance so that you may bloom.
