Teresa has a Master’s degree in Organizational Management and Development from Fielding Graduate University. She is also certified in Evidence Based Coaching. Teresa has an additional Master’s Degree in International Relations from Boston University.
Prior to coaching, Teresa was a stay-at-home parent raising her son, volunteering, and attending graduate school for her second post-graduate degree. Preceding that, she served as the first Executive Director of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation and worked in development and event planning for the Liberty Hill Foundation. From her work experience, Teresa understands the import of compassionate leadership, collaboration, communication, and personal motivation. She believes that “by following your own true path you contribute to your family, community, and the world.”
During her childhood on Pohnpei, a small Pacific island, Teresa met kindhearted adventurers from all over the globe, people who taught her the world can indeed be a village. Since then, she has travelled an adventurous path, living in different American cities, including Honolulu, Boston, Washington, Richmond, Los Angeles, and Miami Beach, and in a few European cities, including Madrid, Linz, and Berlin. She values the learning opportunities and friendships gained from each of those experiences. Teresa now lives in beautiful Santa Barbara, California.
With a strong interest in whole-life balance, Teresa endeavors to nurture and cultivate the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of her life. Inspired by her graduate work research, Teresa defines whole-life balance “as the unique individualized approach of weaving personal and professional roles into a gratifying, harmonious, and fully engaged life.”
